We didn't want to rough it. We just wanted good coffee, on our own terms.

Portable espresso used to mean camp mugs and carabiners. We built the version made for the rest of a woman's actual life — her kitchen, her commute, her weekend plans that don't involve a tent.

Every portable espresso maker on the market was designed for a hiking trail — rugged plastic, carabiner clips, forest-green casing. Great if you're summiting something. Less great if you're just trying to get a decent shot into your travel mug before a 6am flight, or set something pretty on the counter that doesn't look like outdoor gear.

So we made our own. Same barista-grade pressure the trail brands are proud of, in a shape and a shade that belongs wherever you actually spend your mornings — the kitchen counter, the office desk, the passenger seat, the guest room at your sister's house.
